For all the people lined up around the block for Georgetown Cupcake when it is freezing out, I would like to give you a tour of the warm and lovely bake shop that does not require waiting 4 hours in the blistering weather for service. 

I give you Baked and Wired. Home of every delightful flavor you could ask for and more. Their staff is equally wonderful. I totally chickened out of asking the baristas if they would pose for me a) because I was using my camera phone for all of these and b) they were seriously intimidatingly attractive. 

Baked and Wired is down Thomas Jefferson, if you take a right at the corner from Barnes and Noble its right past the bridge over the canal. Enjoy.
