Rings and fingers and the meanings behind them. For my last post I wanted an illustration of the hand with all the Greek god’s/meanings with arrows or something for indication, but was very disappointed by search results. So I decided to go ahead and make my own illustration and might have gotten a little carried away with it. Didn’t quite manage to get the names on the actual picture so here are a few descriptions:
The thumb does not have a Greek god associated with it, but it is “all-important because it represents a quality of will, both personal and universal.”
The index finger is for Jupiter. Wearing a ring on that finger means you have leadership qualities, executive ability, self-esteem, ambition for power, money, and authority.
The middle finger is for Saturn. Rings worn on this finger show you have responsibility, appreciate justice, and a sense of right and wrong.
The ring finger is for Apollo. Rings worn on this finger represent your love of beauty, pursue creativity, have expression of self, and relationship with others.
The little finger is for Mercury. Wearing rings here emphasize intuition, communication, and quick intelligence.
