Negatives

This was the box I kept all my negatives in for last semesters photo 1 class! It did not originally have the textured white stuff on the right side, literally happened an hour after finishing it, kind of a bummer. Anyways its still one of my favorites just because I thought of it as a kind of treasure box keeping all my pictures safe through-out the year.

Posting now because I’m currently working on a few more of these to cover my media/politics class notebook and a journal and another notebook so I should have more to post soon!

Homeless dude lighting a cigarette outside of Starbucks. The other homeless dude that was creeping behind me when I took this said this guy I was taking a picture of was a rapist and I should watch out. Then he told me he was a photographer too and had won the Pulitzer prize twice.

Brace yourself tumblr. I’m thinking about uploading my photo 1 portfolio since its all fancy and matted and basically awesome. So to start it off here is the first decent print I made in the darkroom ever. Its of my friend Clara on the night when we were supposed to go bouldering and ended up studying on the rotunda steps instead. Clara’s idea of a perfect date includes visiting the local puppy shelter and going stargazing at the observatory (fyi for any gentlemen that might be reading this). If you would like to buy a print or something please don’t hesitate to ask because I would really love to continue studying photography except it is so darn expensive.
